Job summary

WSP is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join the Building Services - Design team in Manila. The role focuses on electrical system design for building projects, with emphasis on accuracy, collaboration, and QA compliance.

Candidate should have a BS in Electrical Engineering and at least 7 years of related experience, with REE a plus. Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu, AutoCAD, Revit Electrical, and related tools is preferred to support multi-discipline design activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 7+ years of similar electrical design experience.
• REE certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for building services and related works.
• Maintain drawings records per QA procedures.
• Coordinate with design team and external partners.
• Use electrical software and 3D modelling for designs.
• Support training and development of junior staff.

WSP, a world leading management and consultancy firm, is seeking Electrical Design Engineer to join their Building Services - Design team. The fast-paced firm is rapidly expanding, and this is a great opportunity to join a dynamic team of design and drafting experts who will support your growth and development.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

• Responsible for the Electrical design of building services and associated systems of work.
• Manage and maintain the record of all incoming and outgoing drawings from the office in accordance with WSP QA procedures.
• Liaison with WSP personnel and WSP’s partners both local and foreign affiliates and clients.
• Liaise and coordinate with other disciplines of the design team.
• Manage and control outputs in accordance with the design work program.
• Attend meeting when required.
• Carry out any assignments that will be given from time to time by the management.
• At all times exhibit behaviour, consistent with that of a professional member of WSP.
• Assist with the training and development of subordinates.
• Assist in multidisciplinary project activities.
• Use of electrical software and 3D modelling to develop electrical system designs.
• Other duties as required by management from time to time.

Qualifications

What We’ll Love About You:

• Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 7 years of experience in a similar capacity
• Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) is a plus
• Knowledge in Bluebeam Revu, Autocad , Revit (Electrical System), Section J6, PowerCad-5, AGI and Dialux
• Knowledge in Lightning, Power, Security and Data Lay-outs Schematic Design and Single Lines
