Job summary

Artelia Philippines is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the design and delivery of retail, commercial, and industrial projects. The role focuses on electrical system design, technical documentation, BIM modeling, and multidisciplinary coordination using Revit.

This position emphasizes BIM-based delivery, clash-free coordination, site verification, and compliance with codes and client requirements. It offers hybrid work with opportunities on local and international projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Licensed Electrical Engineer preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical design for building services
• Experience in retail, commercial, mixed-use, or industrial developments
• Proven BIM experience delivering projects using Autodesk Revit
• Strong knowledge of power, lighting, grounding, fire alarm, communication, and auxiliary systems design
• Experience in multidisciplinary coordination and model-based project delivery
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and building services design
• Experience in calculation, BIM modeling, coordination, and documentation production
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities

• Design electrical and auxiliary systems for retail, commercial, and industrial projects
• Prepare electrical load calculations, power distribution layouts, lighting designs, and engineering analysis
• Develop detailed construction drawings, specifications, bill of quantities, and basis of design reports
• Create and maintain electrical BIM models using Autodesk Revit in accordance with project BIM standards
• Coordinate electrical models with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines to identify and resolve clashes
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and multidisciplinary design reviews
• Conduct site inspections, technical assessments, and field verification activities as required
• Review existing electrical systems and recommend design improvements and value-engineering solutions
• Respond to RFIs and RFAs during project implementation
• Ensure all designs comply with applicable codes, standards, client requirements, and BIM execution plans

POSITION PURPOSE

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to support the design and delivery of retail, commercial, and industrial projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for electrical system design, technical documentation, BIM modeling, and multidisciplinary project coordination. This role is ideal for professionals who have strong experience in both traditional electrical design and BIM-based project delivery using Revit.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITY
