Job summary

Dempsey Resource Management in the Philippines is seeking a Costing Engineer to prepare accurate cost estimates and quotations for electrical panels and related products. The role collaborates with Sales, Engineering, Purchasing and Production to ensure competitive pricing while maintaining profitability.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering; fresh graduates welcome, and at least three years' experience in costing or electrical

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and engineering computations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and customer quotations.
• Review electrical drawings, specifications, and Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Compute material, labor, overhead, and production costs.
• Coordinate with Purchasing to obtain supplier quotations and pricing.
• Maintain updated costing databases and historical pricing records.
• Assist in preparing bids, tenders, and commercial proposals.
• Analyze cost variances and recommend cost-saving opportunities.
• Support continuous improvement of costing procedures and systems.
• Perform other related duties assigned by Management.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related Engineering course
