Job summary

Dempsey Resource Management is seeking a proactive Sales professional to develop new accounts and grow existing ones in the electrical industry. You will design coverage plans, prepare proposals, and coordinate with design, planning, and finance teams to close opportunities.

The role requires strong relationship and negotiation skills, with business acumen and solid communication. On-site work in Antipolo, Rizal, Philippines is expected.

Qualifications

• College graduate, preferably in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong understanding of the electrical industry and products.
• Excellent customer relationship skills.
• Good negotiation and communication skills.
• Business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new accounts from referrals, telemarketing, cold calls and other leads.
• Grow existing accounts by expanding offerings to current clients to develop and sustain captive customers.
• Design and implement a coverage plan to visit accounts regularly with appropriate frequency.
• Prepare proposals, gather requirements, and coordinate with Design Development and Planning teams.
• Endorse non-standard product inquiries to DD&T for evaluation and costing and to Planning for production lead times.
• Coordinate with Finance for credit investigations and documentation.
• Solicit inputs from Legal Counsel for major contracts."
• Prepare proposals after consolidating inputs and documents from concerned departments.
• Negotiate with clients and consult Sales Head before submission of proposals.
• Join site visits for pre and ongoing projects when needed.
• Coordinate with Customer Service for Sales Order Form and attachments.
• Prepare yearly forecast and budget.
• Monitor project progress and sales development with assistance from Customer Service.
• Monitor competitor activities and pricing.
• Represent the company at client events and openings to maintain relations.
• Assist in collection of overdue accounts.
• Support in formulation of objectives, forecasts, and budgets.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and secure work area.
• May stand in for Sales Team Leader when requested.
