Job summary

PU DAO Industrial Co. Inc. is seeking a skilled cook to join our kitchen team in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu.

The role requires 1–2 years of proven cooking experience in restaurant, catering, or corporate settings and a high school diploma. Culinary training is a plus, and candidates should be able to read orders and prepare food promptly. Responsibilities include following recipes, operating kitchen equipment, and maintaining cleanliness and compliance with safety rules.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent degree.
• 1 to 2 years of proven experience working as a cook in a restaurant, catering, or corporate kitchen setting.
• Culinary school training or vocational certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and cooks to order foods requiring short preparation time.
• Reads food orders or receives verbal instructions on food required by guests, and prepares and cooks food according to instructions.
• Provides the highest quality of service to staff at all times.
• Follows basic recipes and/or product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving and serving soups, meats, vegetables, desserts and other foodstuffs for consumption in eating establishments.
• Prepares foods by operating a variety of kitchen equipment to measure and mix ingredients, washing, peeling, cutting and shredding fruits and vegetables, and trimming and cutting meat, poultry or fish for culinary use.
• May clean and sanitize work stations and equipment and must follow all company and regulatory rules and procedures.
• Preferably applicants must reside at Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu.
