Job summary
Apex Systems is seeking a senior CDN/Edge Security Engineer to design, implement, and operate enterprise CDN and edge delivery solutions. You will troubleshoot complex incidents and collaborate across infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure resilient performance.
Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in CDN/Networking/security, hands-on Akamai/Cloudflare/Fastly experience, and a strong background in WAF, DDoS, and bot protection within cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years supporting enterprise CDN, networking, or application security environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Akamai, Cloudflare, Fastly, or similar CDN technologies.
- Experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-scale CDN and edge delivery solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support CDN and edge delivery solutions for enterprise environments.
- Troubleshoot performance, routing, availability, and security incidents in production.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams on incident response and optimization.
