Job summary

HPL GameDesign is seeking a skilled 2D animator to craft engaging motion graphics for product pages, ads, and social content. You will apply animation principles, create storyboards, and deliver assets optimized for Shopify and social platforms.

The role requires experience with 2D animation for ecommerce, strong storytelling, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with marketing and creative teams.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in animation principles and brand storytelling.
• Experience creating 2D animations for e-commerce marketing channels.
• Ability to manage multiple animation tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop concepts for animated e-commerce content, including product highlights, feature demos, infographics, and promotional graphics.
• Create sketches for brand requirements and design storyboards for motion projects.
• Produce 2D assets such as product visuals, UI elements, backgrounds, and illustrations.
• Apply animation timing, spacing, and squash & stretch to create engaging motion.
• Render and export animations for Shopify banners, Meta ads, TikTok, YouTube, and emails.
• Adapt animations for 1:1, 4:5, 9:16, 16:9 aspect ratios.
• Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to align with campaign goals.
