You will work with cross‑functional teams across Infra, Engine, Search & Discovery, Foundational AI, Economy, and more, engaging in architectural discussions and bringing curiosity to the table.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or in possession of an undergraduate/graduate degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Proficient in one or more programming languages from the list above.
• Able to thrive in ambiguous environments and collaborate across the company to solve technical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Join a community of curious, supportive engineers, actively engaging in architectural discussions and system design.
• Investigate and experiment with cutting‑edge technologies, like machine learning frameworks and LLMs, to solve complex technical challenges and improve engineering systems.
• Design, code, and test innovative features, navigating the full development lifecycle from design to production deployment.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams (Design, Product, Data, QA, DevOps) to deliver cohesive products and features.
• Support evolution of distributed systems operating at Roblox scale (trillions of analytics events daily).
• Engage in team matching with engineering managers from across Roblox to guide placement.
