Job summary

Nestlé S.A. in the Philippines seeks an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to support maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement of electrical, instrumentation, and automation systems in a factory setting.

The role covers PLC/HMI programming, drives and sensors, electrical wiring, power distribution, and documentation. Fresh graduates are welcome; bachelor's in electrical/electronics engineering required, licensed EE preferred. Shift work, 6 days a week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
• Licensed Electrical Engineer (EE) is preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining industrial electrical, instrumentation, or automation systems.
• Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, smart drives and industrial control systems.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices in manufacturing.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, 6-day work week in a factory setting.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and modify PLC and HMI programs.
• Configure and maintain drives, sensors, and instrumentation devices.
• Support automation and control system improvement projects.
• Analyze equipment and process data to improve system performance.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical, instrumentation, and automation equipment.
• Diagnose and repair equipment faults to minimize downtime.
• Install and maintain electrical wiring, cables, and communication systems.
• Operate and maintain substations and power distribution equipment.
• Maintain electrical, instrumentation, and automation records and drawings.
• Prepare maintenance reports and technical documentation.
• Provide technical support during equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications.
• Follow all safety, quality, and environmental standards.
