Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer specializing in observability with Dynatrace to join a remote, full-time team. You will design and implement Dynatrace dashboards, integrate new telemetry sources, and ensure data accuracy across distributed systems and microservices.

The role requires strong analytical skills, autonomous task management, and the ability to work with a small agile team and stakeholders to deliver reliable monitoring capabilities.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Site Reliability Engineering with a focus on observability platforms, Dynatrace.
• Proficient in designing and optimizing monitoring solutions for distributed systems and microservices architectures.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues impacting monitoring accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of a Dynatrace dashboard tailored to strategic business and operational metrics.
• Identify and integrate new telemetry sources from web applications and microservices to enhance monitoring coverage.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues affecting data accuracy and dashboard reliability in a distributed environment.
• Collaborate closely with a small, agile team of 3-5 engineers and engage regularly with client managers and development teams.
• Maintain and continuously optimize Dynatrace configurations to align with evolving KPI requirements.
• Manage project blockers proactively to ensure timely delivery of critical monitoring capabilities.
• Translate input from analysts and product owners into actionable monitoring solutions supporting product validation.
