Job summary

MKS Workforce Management Services Inc. in Manila is hiring a driver to safely operate vehicles and transport goods to designated locations. You will maintain delivery logs and coordinate with dispatch to meet schedules.

The role requires a valid driver's license for the vehicle type, a clean driving record, and the ability to navigate the Metro Manila area while upholding safety standards. Training and performance incentives are included.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type
• Proven experience as a driver in a commercial or retail environment
• Strong knowledge of road safety rules and traffic regulations
• Excellent driving record with no serious violations or accidents
• Physical fitness to safely operate vehicles and handle loading/unloading tasks
• Reliability and punctuality in meeting delivery schedules
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently while maintaining professional standards
• Familiarity with the Metro Manila area and efficient navigation
• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Safely operate vehicles and transport goods, materials, and personnel to designated locations in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain accurate records of routes, mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery logs
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe working condition
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company driving policies
• Load and unload cargo carefully, ensuring items are secured and protected during transport
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, management, and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise
• Maintain a clean and well-organised vehicle at all times
• Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents immediately to management
• Support retail and consumer products operations by delivering stock to stores and warehouses as required
