About the role

Polystar General Services Inc. is seeking a professional and reliable Driver to join our team in Makati City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our courier, drivers and postal services operations. As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and passengers while maintaining the highest standards of customer service and vehicle maintenance. This role is essential to our logistics network and directly impacts our ability to deliver exceptional service to our clients.

What you'll be doing

• Operating and manoeuvring vehicles safely and efficiently to transport goods and passengers to designated destinations

• Planning and optimising routes to ensure timely deliveries whilst minimising fuel consumption and vehicle wear

• Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify maintenance issues and report them promptly

• Maintaining accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, deliveries and any incidents that occur during operation

• Adhering strictly to traffic regulations, speed limits and other road safety requirements

• Providing courteous and professional customer service to clients, including assisting with loading and unloading cargo when required

• Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and ensuring goods are properly secured during transport

• Communicating effectively with dispatch and management regarding delivery status, delays and any operational concerns

What we're looking for

• A valid Professional Driver's Licence (Class 2 or higher) appropriate for the vehicle type you will be operating

• A clean driving record with no major traffic violations or accidents in the past 3-5 years

• Minimum 1-2 years of professional driving experience in a courier, logistics or transport setting

• Strong knowledge of Metro Manila roads, traffic patterns and popular destinations

• Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliveries efficiently

• Physical fitness to handle loading and unloading of cargo and extended periods of sitting

• Strong communication skills and a professional attitude towards customers and colleagues

• Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and basic vehicle maintenance practices
