Key Responsibilities
Transportation & Delivery
- Safely operate trucks to deliver goods to specified locations.
- Plan routes efficiently and use GPS or maps to navigate.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring it is secure during transit.
Safety & Compliance
- Adhere to traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Report any mechanical issues or accidents promptly.
- Follow regulations for transporting hazardous materials, if applicable.
Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of delivery logs, hours of service, and mileage.
- Obtain customer signatures and ensure delivery receipts are filed.
Customer Service
- Communicate professionally with clients during pickups and deliveries.
- Address any customer concerns or questions promptly.
Maintenance
- Monitor vehicle performance and schedule regular maintenance.
- Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of the truck.
Note: Interview will take place in Iloilo but once successfully hired manpower will be sent to Romania.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL (Class A or B depending on the truck).
- Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably in a similar role.
- Ability to operate and navigate various types of trucks, including flatbeds, tankers, or tractor-trailers.
- Knowledge of road safety regulations and proper cargo handling.
- Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy cargo when needed.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
