Job summary

Brainbox in Pampanga is seeking an experienced Draftsperson for industrial plant projects. You will move between fabrication detail and overall layout, designing bins, head bins and chutes from concept through to fabrication, and collaborating with engineers.

The role requires at least 5 years drafting experience, strong Autodesk Inventor skills, and the ability to read plant layouts and integrate detailed designs.

• Ability to read plant layouts and integrate designs accurately.
• Proficient in Autodesk Inventor 3D modelling.

Responsibilities

About the role

Our client is looking for an experienced Draftsperson with a background in industrial plant and bulk materials handling. This role sits within a broader plant design environment and calls for someone who can move confidently between fabrication detail and overall layout integration.

What you will be doing

• Designing bins, head bins and chutes from concept through to fabrication detail


• Producing accurate fabrication and layout drawings using Autodesk Inventor


• Integrating your drawings with the wider plant design, working alongside engineers and other draftspeople


• Checking your own work for fit, tolerance and buildability before it goes to fabrication

What we are looking for

• Demonstrated experience designing bins, head bins and chutes. This is essential; without it, we cannot progress an application


• At least 5 years of experience in drafting, preferably background in industrial plant and bulk materials handling


• Strong Autodesk Inventor skills, used in a production drafting environment and 3D modelling


• Background in mining, quarrying, processing, manufacturing or a similar heavy industrial plant setting. Mining experience is a plus but not essential


• Ability to read and work from plant layouts and integrate detailed designs into them accurately
