Position Summary:

Were looking for a skilled and motivated Draftsperson to join our team. In this role, you will use Tekla Structures to produce detailed fabrication drawings for a variety of structural steel projects. You'll support the production of accurate, high-quality shop drawings that align with engineering specifications and Australian building standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and manage 3D models and shop drawings using Tekla Structures.
• Interpret architectural and engineering drawings to produce precise structural steel details.
• Detail a wide range of steel structures, from small garages to large industrial buildings.
• Standardise and maintain drawing templates and documentation processes.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless design-to-production workflow.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in structural steel detailing using Tekla Structures.
• Solid understanding of structural steel elements, fabrication methods, and connection detailing.
• Familiarity with lightweight steel materials (e.g., C-sections, Bluescope claddings) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
• Ability to read and interpret technical construction and engineering drawings.
• Relevant qualifications in Engineering Drafting or a related field.
• Can start ASAP.
