Job summary

AboitizPower is seeking a Distribution Development Planning Engineer to analyze power systems and develop distribution plans in line with local and national regulations. You will work with the Power System Planning team to deliver reliable service and positive community impact.

The role emphasizes data-driven studies, forecasting, and collaboration with stakeholders to improve distribution reliability and development.

Qualifications

• Registered Electrical Engineer qualification required.
• Experience with power engineering studies and distribution planning.
• Ability to analyze large data sets from interval meters and customer data.
• Forecast energy and demand per substation, cluster, and loop.

Responsibilities

• Conduct power engineering studies including Load Transfers, Load Flow, Reliability Analysis, and Distribution Impact Studies.
• Prepare reports on power quality improvement and distribution development in compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate with Power System Planning team and stakeholders to deliver results.
