Job summary

CACI International seeks an experienced Distribution Coordinator, Senior to lead distribution operations across the Indo-Pacific theater. You will supervise personnel, plan multimodal movement, and synchronize cargo flow through hubs, ports, and forward locations to support mission requirements.

You will coordinate with government stakeholders, transportation teams, and partners to resolve issues, ensuring timely, accurate distribution of critical resources.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in distribution management, transportation operations, or logistics for DoD programs.
  • Experience coordinating multimodal transportation operations and theater distribution activities.
  • Experience supporting warehouse, port, airfield logistics, RSOI, or distribution centers.
  • Experience using logistics information systems to monitor cargo and in-transit visibility.
  • Proven ability to supervise logistics personnel and coordinate across organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead distribution personnel and daily operations, set priorities and resources.
  • Coordinate multimodal movement through ports, airfields, warehouses, ISBs, JTDCs, and forward locations.
  • Manage transportation networks using air, sea, ground, and commercial modes.
  • Monitor shipment status, in-transit visibility, delivery schedules, and team performance.
  • Coordinate with transport providers, warehouses, and host nation agencies to resolve issues.
  • Review distribution schedules, routing, and resource allocation.
  • Maintain cargo visibility across the distribution lifecycle using systems.
  • Support theater reception, staging, onward movement, and integration activities.
  • Analyze performance, capacity, risks; implement corrective actions and improvements.
  • Prepare reports and brief executives on logistics readiness.

The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking an experienced Distribution Coordinator, Senior to support distribution and theaterlogisticsoperations across the Indo-Pacific. The Distribution Coordinator, Senior serves as CACI’s distribution management lead, responsible for managing personnel and planning, coordinating, and synchronizing the movement and distribution of supplies, equipment, and materiel to supportlogistics, mission support, facilities, training, and operational requirements. Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Management Lead, this position provides day-to-day leadership, assigns priorities and resources, and ensures efficient distribution operations across strategic distribution hubs, Intermediate Staging Bases (ISBs), Joint Theater Distribution Centers (JTDCs), warehouses, ports, airfields, and forward operating locations.

The Distribution Coordinator, Senior works closely with Government stakeholders, transportation coordinators, warehouse personnel, supply managers, movement control teams, procurement specialists, customs officials, commercial carriers, Service Components, coalition partners, and host nation agencies to coordinate multimodal distribution operations, monitor shipment status, resolve transportation challenges, and optimize theater distribution networks. This position contributes to successful program execution by ensuring thetimely,accurate, and accountable distribution of mission-critical resources throughout the Indo-Pacific theater.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and lead distribution personnel and daily distribution operations supporting theaterlogisticsand operational sustainment,establishingpriorities, assigning work, and ensuring mission requirements are met.

  • Direct and synchronize the movement of supplies, equipment, andmaterielthrough ports, airfields, warehouses, ISBs, JTDCs, and forward operating locations.

  • Manage coordination of multimodal transportation utilizing air, sea, ground, and commercial transportation networks.

  • Establish distribution priorities andmonitorshipment status, in-transit visibility, delivery schedules, workload, and team performance to ensuretimelymission support.

  • Lead coordination with transportation providers, warehouse personnel, movement control teams, customs officials, and host nation agencies to resolve shipment issues, transportation delays, and operational constraints.

  • Review and approve distribution schedules, transportation plans, routing recommendations, cargo movement priorities, and resource allocation decisions.

  • Maintain accountability and visibility of cargo throughout the distribution lifecycle usinglogisticsinformation systems.

  • Support theater reception, staging, onward movement, and integration (RSOI) activities and distribution planning.

  • Analyze distribution performance, transportation metrics, throughput capacity, staffing requirements, and operational risks; direct corrective actions and process improvements asrequired.

  • Prepare and deliver distribution reports,logisticsdashboards, operational updates, and executive-level briefings for Government and program leadership.

  • Manage contingency distribution operations supporting humanitarianassistance, disaster response, surge operations, and emergent missions, including personnel and resource prioritization.

  • Ensure team compliance with Government transportation regulations, customs requirements, hazardous material handling procedures, contractual requirements, and established SOPs.

  • Maintain distribution documentation, shipment records, cargo manifests, and transportation databases.

  • Supervise, coach, mentor, and develop assignedlogisticspersonnel; provide performance feedback, address performance issues, and promote standardized distribution management processes.

  • Manage team workload, schedules, deliverable quality, operational risks, and issue escalation while fostering collaboration, accountability, responsiveness, and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Minimum 8 years of experience supporting distribution management, transportation operations, supply chain management, movement control, orlogisticsoperations for Government or Department of Defense programs.

  • Experience supporting Department of Defense, Joint, Combatant Command, Service Component, or Special Operations organizations.

  • Experience coordinating multimodal transportation operations, cargo movements, and theater distribution activities.

  • Experience supporting warehouse operations, port operations, airfieldlogistics, reception, staging, onward movement, and integration (RSOI), or distribution centers.

  • Experienceutilizinglogisticsinformation systems tomonitorcargo accountability, shipment status, and in-transit visibility.

  • Demonstrated experience supervising or leadinglogisticspersonnel, assigning workload, managing priorities and resources,monitoringperformance, and coordinating operations across multiple organizations while meeting operational timelines and mission requirements.

  • Demonstrated ability to prepare operational reports and brief senior Government and program leadership on distribution performance andlogisticsreadiness.

Desired:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.

  • Experience supporting USSOCOM, SOCPAC, Geographic Combatant Commands, Joint Task Forces, or Service Componentlogisticsorganizations.

  • Experience supporting Indo-Pacific operations, contestedlogistics, theater distribution, expeditionarylogistics, or multinational sustainment operations.

  • Experience utilizing GCSS-Army, GCSS-MC, GCCS-J, Power BI, SharePoint, Microsoft 365,SmarTrack, RFID, Transportation Coordinators’ Automated Information for Movements System II (TC-AIMS II), Integrated Booking System (IBS), or other transportation andlogisticsmanagement systems.

  • Knowledge of Joint distribution doctrine, Defense Transportation System (DTS), customs clearance procedures, hazardous materials regulations, and commercial freight operations.

  • Professional certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified Professional Logistician (CPL), Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD), or equivalentlogisticsand transportation certifications are preferred.

  • Experience supporting strategic distribution hubs, ISBs, JTDCs, contingency operations, and Special Operations Forceslogisticswithin geographically dispersed environments is highly desirable.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
