Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, information systems, or a related field.
  • Experience in operations, compensation administration, financial transaction processing, reporting, or similar.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with operational systems, reconciliations, data validation, and process documentation.
  • Experience with process improvement, automation, system testing, or enhancement projects is an advantage.
  • CPA license is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in system enhancements, providing operational input.
  • Prepare, validate, and record commission entries accurately.
  • Identify and implement automation to reduce manual work.
  • Enhance processes and support timely payment of agents and provident funds.
  • Validate daily CRR reports and coordinate prompt corrections.
  • Respond to inquiries from agents and internal departments with accurate information.
  • Prepare and issue annual Provident Fund Statements of Account.
  • Record loan deductions and resolve discrepancies.
  • Explain eSOA readings to agents and provide guidance.

Job description

The Distribution Accounting Supervisor supports the accurate, timely, and efficient administration of agent-related operations. The role participates in system enhancements and cross-functional projects, manages compensation and provident fund activities, validates operational reports, processes distribution-related transactions, and responds to inquiries from agents and internal departments. The position also identifies opportunities to automate processes, strengthen controls, and improve service delivery.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Participate in UAMS system enhancements and related projects by providing operational input,
  • Prepare, validate, and record MIMPH commission entries accurately and within established processing
  • Identify and implement process automation and efficiency improvements that reduce manual
  • Enhance GROUP and ASI1 processes and support the timely and accurate payment of agent
  • Administer the Agents Provident Fund, including transaction processing, record maintenance,
  • Validate daily CRR reports, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate the prompt correction
  • Respond to inquiries from agents and internal departments, providing accurate information
  • Prepare and issue annual Provident Fund Statements of Account, ensuring completeness and
  • Perform the monthly ERH computation and complete the required validation, documentation.
  • Record loan deductions accurately, maintain supporting records, and resolve discrepancies

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or arelated field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
  • Experience in operations, compensation administration, financial transaction processing, reporting,or a comparable support function.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with operational systems, reconciliations, datavalidation, and process documentation.
  • Experience supporting process improvement, automation, system testing, or enhancement projectsis an advantage.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is an advantage.
