Job summary

ZC KINGS MANPOWER COOPERATIVE in Calamba City, Laguna, is seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. This full-time role focuses on keeping dishes, utensils, and equipment clean and sanitized to support chefs and service staff.

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join the kitchen team at ZC KINGS MANPOWER COOPERATIVE. This is a full-time position based in Calamba City, Laguna. As a Dishwasher, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of our kitchen operations, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitised. This position is essential to the smooth functioning of our hospitality operations and directly supports our chefs and kitchen staff in delivering excellent service to our guests.

What you'll be doing

• Operating commercial dishwashing machines and hand-washing dishes when necessary to maintain kitchen efficiency

• Sorting, rinsing, and loading dishes, glassware, cutlery and kitchen equipment into dishwashing machines

• Inspecting washed items for cleanliness and proper sanitation before returning them to service

• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the dishwashing area, including floors, walls, and work surfaces

• Safely handling and storing cleaning chemicals and detergents in accordance with health and safety regulations

• Assisting with general kitchen cleaning duties and maintaining high hygiene standards throughout the kitchen

• Reporting any damaged equipment or items to management immediately

• Following all health, safety and food hygiene protocols to ensure a safe working environment

• Stacking and organising clean dishes, glasses and utensils for easy access by kitchen staff

• Assisting other kitchen team members during peak service times as required

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Dishwasher or in a similar kitchen support role, preferably within a hospitality, restaurant or catering environment

• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive manual tasks

• Ability to lift and carry heavy items such as trays, dishes and kitchen equipment safely

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene

• Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic

• Ability to work effectively as part of a kitchen team in a fast-paced environment

• Understanding of basic kitchen safety and food hygiene principles

• Willingness to follow instructions and take direction from senior kitchen staff

• Basic English language skills for communication with team members

• Flexibility to work shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends as required
