Job summary

Global Payments Inc. is seeking a BC/DR professional to assist in developing risk management procedures, disaster recovery plans, and contingency strategies to keep operations running during outages and major events.

The role involves testing plans with IT and business units, evaluating vendors, and ensuring SLAs meet business continuity requirements. You will coordinate analyses, recovery exercises, and training to strengthen resilience across central and distributed systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Typically minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
• Related work experience in BC/DR or IT risk.
• Background in IT and Payments Industry.
• Certifications: DRII, BCI, Sentryx preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops BC/DR plans to minimize impact of threats on assets and services.
• Plans, coordinates and may lead BC/DR projects and analyses mitigation activities.
• Sets up alternate facilities (Hot Sites) and coordinates recovery tasks.
• Trains recovery teams and staff on BC/DR policies and procedures.
• Interacts with clients and supports vendor negotiations as required.
