Job summary

Farahi Law Firm seeks a strategic Director of Technology & AI to lead technology strategy, AI transformation, and systems integration across the firm. You will design AI-powered workflows, governance, and scalable infrastructure while aligning with executive leadership.

You will drive modernization, automation, and data analytics initiatives, overseeing cybersecurity and compliance, vendor management, and team development. This role requires hands-on AI experience and business impact orientation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related field.
8–10 years of progressive experience in technology, IT leadership, software engineering, or digital transformation.
3–5 years leading technology teams, AI initiatives, or enterprise automation projects.
Demonstrated success implementing AI-powered solutions and integrating enterprise technology systems.
Strong understanding of generative AI, LLMs, API integrations, workflow automation, and data analytics.
Experience overseeing cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, vendor management, and technology budgets.
Proven ability to develop technology strategies that generate measurable business results.
Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and organizational leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive technology and AI roadmap aligned with organizational objectives.
Lead technology modernization, digital transformation, and operational automation initiatives.
Evaluate existing platforms, infrastructure, and systems to identify opportunities for improvement.
Establish technology governance, performance standards, and scalable technology solutions.
Collaborate directly with executive leadership on strategic technology investments and priorities.
Lead the adoption and integration of AI technologies across departments, including Legal Operations, Intake, Marketing, Finance, Recruitment, and Human Resources.
Identify opportunities to automate repetitive processes, reduce manual workloads, and increase operational efficiency.
Design and oversee AI-powered workflows, intelligent assistants, document processing, and predictive analytics solutions.
Evaluate AI tools, including LLMs and automation platforms.
Establish AI governance standards addressing privacy, security, and responsible use.
Measure AI initiatives based on productivity improvements, cost savings, adoption rates, and business impact.
Oversee integration, optimization, and maintenance of enterprise systems and technology platforms.
Ensure reliable data flow between case management, CRM, HR, recruitment, finance, and communication systems.
Direct technology infrastructure improvements, system upgrades, and vendor integrations.
Establish standards for data quality, system reliability, scalability, and business continuity.
Partner with IT personnel and external technology providers to resolve technical challenges.
Develop and implement information security strategies to protect confidential information.
Ensure AI initiatives comply with privacy, cybersecurity, and legal requirements.
Oversee access management, data protection, and vendor security assessments.
Establish incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures.
Lead, mentor, and develop technology, IT, automation, and AI specialists.
Establish measurable team objectives, accountability standards, and performance metrics.
Evaluate technology vendors, software providers, and external development partners.
Manage technology budgets, software licensing, vendor contracts, and overall expenditures.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and cross-functional collaboration.
Partner with department leaders to understand operational challenges and identify technology-driven solutions.
Implement AI-enabled process improvements supporting faster case handling, stronger reporting, and better service delivery.
Develop reporting dashboards and data analytics capabilities for leadership.
Drive technology adoption through structured implementation, training, and change management.
Prioritize projects based on feasibility, ROI, and urgency.
