Grab Financial Group (GFG) Philippines sits at the intersection of financial services, technology, and public impact. The team leads payments, lending, insurance, and new financial products for one of Southeast Asia's most dynamic markets. We work across the full stack: from regulatory engagement with BSP and SEC to on-the-ground product delivery for drivers, merchants, and consumers. This is a team that holds both ambition and accountability in equal measure, and the work we do has real impact for real people. We are in a high-growth phase, expanding our footprint through strategic projects and partnerships. You will join a team that is not only managing a core business but actively architecting the future of our financial services ecosystem to deliver greater value to our consumers, drivers, and merchants.
The Director, GFG Philippines leads the full spectrum of financial services in the country. These services include payments, lending, insurance, strategy, and partnerships. The right candidate is an established financial services leader in the Philippines. This leader has the credibility to operate at the highest levels of government and regulatory engagement. This includes BSP, SEC, the Insurance Commission, and relevant legislative bodies. They bring experience building consequential partnerships with local institutions, international banks, and technology companies, and are comfortable representing Grab in public forums and policy discussions. This is an operator role as much as a strategic one. The Director, GFG PH is accountable for business targets, budget performance, and full P&L across all financial services verticals. Additionally, the Director will move fluidly between long-horizon strategy and the demands of day-to-day execution. This role is central to our growth strategy. You will be the transformation leader to maintain business momentum while navigating complex regulatory and operations transitions to leapfrog the business.
15 or more years of progressive leadership experience in financial services, with five years in senior executive role. Experience in leading large-scale organizational change management or complex platform transformations within financial services. Expertise in one or more financial services products, including digital payments, consumer lending, insurance, or FinTech product development. Experience managing and extracting value from multi-layered business structures, with a focus on optimizing operations, P&L, and cross-functional/business synergies. Deep experience in navigating regulatory landscapes during high-growth, high-stakes periods, with experience balancing commercial aggression with stringent compliance standards. Advanced degree from a reputable institution is an asset but not a prerequisite. Strategic vision paired with operational discipline; able to set direction and then hold the organization accountable for delivery.
