The Director for Control Management Shared Services leads a team of Risk, Controls and Compliance Management Specialists. Provides expert advice to the business on regulatory matters and oversees governance of Capital One's Risk, Controls and Compliance Management Programs. This role will require the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key first and second line of defense partners such as Human Resources, Privacy, Risk Management and Legal
Provides strategic oversight and people management for control testing, compliance and risk management functions
Builds strong partnerships with risk advisors to ensure consistent and comprehensive guidance for the business
Performs extensive gap assessments and create recommendations for smart business decisions
Monitors remediation plans of any internal or regulatory findings within the business area of responsibility
Works with dynamic teams on departmental process management and execution
Bachelor's Degree
At least 10 years experience in Risk Management
At least 5 years experience in People Management
Willing to work in a mid shift schedule
Willing to work in a hybrid set up
Post graduate degree
Foundational knowledge in Financial Services
Certifications in Business Process Management, Six Sigma, Agile and Compliance (CRCM)
