Job summary

PeopleStrong in the Philippines seeks an IoT-focused professional to drive smart manufacturing, shop-floor digitalization, device connectivity, and real-time visibility.

You will lead IoT integration with ERP, SAP, MES, SharePoint, Power Apps, Power BI, SQL, and enterprise platforms, while ensuring IT/OT cybersecurity and data governance across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation, Electrical, Mechanical, Production Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in digital manufacturing, IoT implementation, industrial automation, IT/OT systems, Industry 4.0, or manufacturing application development.
• Hands-on exposure to IoT platforms, PLC/SCADA integration, industrial sensors, edge gateways, OPC-UA, and MQTT protocols.

Responsibilities

• Lead IoT, smart manufacturing, machine connectivity, sensor integration, PLC/SCADA data capture, edge devices, gateways, and real-time monitoring.
• Identify digitization opportunities in production, maintenance, quality, energy, safety, stores, and supply chain.
• Implement digital solutions for OEE, machine utilization, downtime, MTBF/MTBR, predictive maintenance, energy monitoring, production progress, checklists, and quality records.
• Convert shop-floor pain points into practical digital use cases with measurable business benefits.
• Integrate IoT and manufacturing applications with ERP, SAP, MES, SharePoint, Power Apps, Power BI, SQL, and enterprise platforms.
• Ensure IT/OT cybersecurity, network segmentation, access control, data governance, and compliance.
• Track project timelines, cost, benefits, risks, adoption, uptime, data accuracy, and post-implementation performance.
• Drive adoption through demonstrations, training, SOPs, documentation, and change management.

Job Description

• Ability to manage change and drive adoption across operators, supervisors, engineers, and management teams.
