Job summary

EY is seeking an Associate/Senior Associate in IT Advisory Services to work on SAP implementation projects for clients worldwide. The role focuses on SAP FICO solutions, with emphasis on R/3/S/4HANA configurations, CO modules, and cross-functional collaboration with business and technical teams.

You will engage in designing SAP FICO solutions, preparing functional specs, and ensuring effective controls while coordinating with other SAP modules.

Qualifications

• Ability to drive SAP FICO projects including configurations in SAP R/3 or S/4HANA.
• Strong knowledge of CO modules: cost allocations, cost centre and profitability analysis.
• Experience in SAP integration with FI/CO and other modules.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

The Opportunity

Associate/Senior Associate in the IT Advisory Services team to work on various SAP Implementation projects for our customers across the globe.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Participate in designing the SAP FICO Solutions for the customers / clients


• Prepare functional specification for customization and Z developments


• Ability to assess the SAP control environment/configuration and benchmark it with the standard SAP config.


• Ability to communicate with both the Business as well as with the Technical staff


• Have a control mind-set and bring ideas about automating controls using SAP


• Deliver the SAP FICO projects with basic understanding of other SAP modules


• Build strong internal relationships within the firm and with other services across the organization


• Ability to identify gaps and provide estimate of efforts needed to fix them using SAP

Skills and attributes for success

• The candidate should be able to drive the technical solution of SAP FICO projects in SAP R/3 or S/4 HANA


• Should also have basic understanding of SAP SD ad SAP MM module.


• Candidate should be able to guide the team and communicate effectively with client and manage the projects with due balance of scope, cost & time


• Good Knowledge on all modules of SAP FICO (Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivables, GL accounting/Asset Accounting)


• Strong Knowledge on CO Modules (Cost Allocations/ cost centre accounting, profit centre accounting, product cost controlling (Standard costing, Actual Costing), profitability analysis, Project System, Results Analysis, Unsettled Costs, Month End Close, Overhead assessment, and settlement)


• Very good understanding on FI-MM, FI-CO and FI-SD integrations

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Approximately 4-8 years of recent relevant work experience.


• Strong communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation skills.


• Strong Knowledge on CO Modules (Cost Allocations/ cost centre accounting, profit centre accounting, product cost controlling (Standard costing, Actual Costing), profitability analysis, Project System, Results Analysis, Unsettled Costs, Month End Close, Overhead assessment, and settlement)

Good to have

• SAP R/3 or S/4 HANA Certification in recent release


• Hands on experience in SAP R/3 or S/4 HANA Engagements

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Be highly flexible, adaptable, and creative.


• Comfortable interacting with senior executives (within the firm and at the client)


• Strong leadership skills and supervisory responsibility.
