Job summary

Manulife Financial invites applications for a Digital Content Associate who will support our global digital content management team in creating, managing, and publishing content across CMSs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT/Digital Media/Communications/Marketing or related field.
  • Experience in a digital content role within marketing/creative environment.
  • Beginner CMS experience (AEM, WordPress, Drupal).
  • Basic graphic design with Adobe Creative Suite; HTML/CSS a plus.
  • Familiar with WorkFront, Jira, or Asana.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Job description

The Digital Content Associate will be a key member for our global digital content management team that focuses on supporting our digital marketing initiatives by creating, managing, and publishing content using various content management systems.

Key Accountabilities
  • Collaborate with the digital content management team to develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with marketing goals.
  • Create, edit, and publish digital content, including text, images, and multimedia, using various content management systems (CMS).
  • Perform routine content updates and maintenance to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Maintain an organized content library and ensure digital assets are properly archived and accessible.
  • Collaborate with developers on a variety of task related to design such as providing ideas, support and expertise when needed.
Basic qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Digital Media, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a digital content role, especially within a marketing, media, or creative environment.
  • Beginner proficiency in using content management systems (CMS) such as Adobe Experience Manager, WordPress, or Drupal.
  • Basic graphic design skills, with familiarity in design software like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Familiarity in HTML and CSS a plus. Comfortable with learning new software programs as needed.
  • Basic knowledge or experience using project management tools like WorkFront, Jira, or Asana.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledgeable in using Microsoft Office Suite.
