Job summary

Ascendion is seeking a Systems Analyst in the Philippines to join our team and lead the analysis, design, and implementation of our digital banking applications. You will translate complex business needs into actionable technical requirements within a fintech ecosystem.

The role requires strong collaboration with business units, IT, and external partners, plus guiding workshops and mentoring junior staff. On-site work in Ortigas or Makati is expected for a dayshift schedule.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst.
• Experience in digital banking or fintech apps preferred.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis and documentation of complex business processes for digital applications.
• Drive requirements lifecycle from concept to detailed specs.
• Create technical specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria for development and QA.
• Act as liaison between business, IT, and external vendors.
• Facilitate workshops and align stakeholders on project delivery.
• Provide subject matter expertise for digital applications and troubleshooting.
• Analyze root causes and implement long-term fixes.
• Mentor junior team members and promote best practices.
