Private Advertiser in Manila’s Makati area is seeking a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and maintain CI/CD pipelines across cloud and on‑premises environments. About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mid-Level DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and maintain our continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines across cloud and on-premises environments. In this role, you will collaborate closely with development teams to build scalable microservices architectures, automate zero-downtime deployments, monitor system health, and manage geo-distributed infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines across cloud-based and on-premises environments; automate zero-downtime deployments using Helm, Gitlab CI, and related tooling.
• Scale and monitor microservices using Docker, Kubernetes, and Grafana; research and integrate automated tools to build resilient, geo-distributed infrastructure.
• Administer application servers, web servers, and databases, including JBoss, Tomcat, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and DB2.
• Partner with development teams to set up automation pipelines, troubleshoot deployment bottlenecks, and collaborate with peer engineers on architecture solutions.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to provide technical server support and ensure platform availability.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, system administration, or infrastructure engineering.
• Proficiency in Ansible, Maven, JIRA, and core technologies including Java and REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Linux/Windows, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and monitoring platforms like Grafana.
• Experience administering application/web servers and databases (JBoss, Tomcat, MySQL, PostgreSQL, DB2).
• Knowledge and experience using SOAP service testing tools (Ready API / SoapUI Pro).
• Must be willing and able to work full-time onsite in Makati City.
