Job summary

Our Clients in Makati City is seeking a DevOps Engineer to bridge software development and IT operations. You will design, build, and maintain automated CI/CD workflows, secure cloud and on-premise environments, and ensure maximum uptime for critical systems.

Collaborating with developers and security teams, you will optimize performance and create resilient architectures, supporting both cloud and on-premise deployments with a hybrid model and night shifts.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, SRE, or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Deep familiarity with CI/CD & containerization (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficient in scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
• Solid Linux/Windows administration, networking, security fundamentals, and Git.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Provision, configure, and maintain scalable IaC environments using Terraform/Ansible/CloudFormation.
• Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting for application health.
• Integrate security controls and vulnerability scanning into deployment lifecycles.

DevOps Engineer

Location & Schedule: Makati City | Monday to Friday| Hybrid | Night Shift

In This Role, You Are Responsible For:

As a DevOps Engineer, you will bridge the gap between software development and IT operations to accelerate our digital delivery pipelines. You are responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust automated CI/CD workflows, securing our cloud and on-premise infrastructure, and ensuring maximum uptime for critical business systems. Collaborating closely with internal developers and security teams, you will optimize system performance and build resilient environment architectures that protect our data integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Pipeline Automation: Design, implement, and manage automated continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline software releases.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Provision, configure, and maintain scalable infrastructure environments using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• System Monitoring & Alerting: Set up proactive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to track application health and swiftly resolve system bottlenecks.
• Security & Compliance: Integrate security controls and vulnerability scanning into the deployment lifecycle to maintain our strict ISO 27001 data protection standards.
• Collaboration & Support: Work hand-in-hand with software engineers to troubleshoot infrastructure issues, optimize database configurations, and improve runtime environments.

Qualifications

• Professional Experience: Proven experience working as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or a similar systems-focused technical role.
• Cloud Proficiency: Hands-on experience managing and deploying applications on major cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
• CI/CD & Containerization: Deep familiarity with build automation servers (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Scripting Capabilities: Proficient in scripting languages (such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell) to automate repetitive administrative and configuration tasks.
• Strong Foundation: Solid understanding of Linux/Windows administration, networking protocols, system security fundamentals, and version control tools (Git).
