Job summary

Globe Telecom, Inc. seeks a Cloud Computing Engineer (AWS/GCP) to join the Cloud Engineering Tribe within the Architecture and Engineering team. You will design, implement, and manage cloud platforms while collaborating with DevOps, SRE, and Platform teams to deliver secure infrastructure.

The role focuses on developing and maintaining public cloud solutions, optimizing CI/CD, and advancing automation. Excellent English communication and Agile practices are required in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS and GCP.
• Solid understanding of modern DevOps, including CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Proficiency with Terraform and Ansible.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum) and tools like Jira/Confluence.

As a Cloud Computing Engineer in AWS/GCP, you will be an integral part of the Cloud Engineering Tribe within the Architecture and Engineering team. You will work closely with fellow Cloud Engineers to design, implement, manage, and deliver innovative solutions in the Public Cloud Domain. Your collaboration will extend to Platform Engineers, DevOps, SRE (Site Reliability Engineering), and DevSecOps teams to ensure the delivery of a secure and compliant infrastructure.

Your daily grind

As a Cloud Computing Engineer, you will contribute to our strategic growth initiative and will be responsible for the development and maintenance of cloud platforms. Your main focus will be on the development, maintenance, and optimization of our Public Cloud Platform.

• Maintaining and developing CI/CD Pipelines to enhance our cloud operations.
• Designing and implementing solutions for a greenfield cloud infrastructure platform.
• Continuously evaluating and improving automation and DevOps processes to meet the needs of development and operations teams.
• Collaborating with stakeholders across both infrastructure and application areas.
• Actively participating as a team player in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS and/or GCP.

• Hands-on experience with AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a Cloud Engineering team.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum) and management tools (Jira & Confluence).
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
