AMCS Group is seeking an experienced software developer to design, build, and maintain cloud-based environmental software products. You will work with the latest .NET stack, REST APIs, and relational databases in a collaborative, agile environment.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years in IT and a passion for UI and open-source tech, with hybrid working and ongoing professional development supported by the company.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years’ experience in an IT environment, specializing in software development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with customers, colleagues, suppliers and third parties.
• High energy, drive, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Enthusiasm for software development and user interfaces.

Responsabilités

• Develop, enhance, and maintain environmental software products per requirements and designs.
• Contribute to specification, development, and testing of software solutions to defined standards.
• Deliver software development projects as stand-alone and as part of agile/outsourced teams.
• Deliver project updates to senior management.

What You'll Do

• Developing, enhancing, and maintaining our environmental software products in accordance with agreed requirements and designs, including:

• Member of a team of software developers using latest versions of Microsoft .Net

• Contributing to the specification, development, and test of software solutions to defined standards.

• Delivery of software development projects both as stand‑alone and as a team member of internal agile and outsourced development teams.

• Develop and deliver project updates to senior management.

• Skills and Competencies

• Strong technical knowledge of Web Technologies such as .NET, Asp.NetWeb API, REST

• Understanding Relational Databases (we use Postgres and Azure SQL, but any other experience would do)

• Strong experience with latest C#

• Good knowledge of Object‑Oriented Design and Development

• Familiar with security mechanisms including web and web service security and their implementations.

• Experience in writing Unit test cases

• Understanding Kubernetes basics

What You Bring

• 5-10 years’ experience in an Information Technology environment, specializing in Software Development, would be a distinct advantage.

• Good communication and personal skills, able to communicate clearly, effectively, and form effective working relationships with customers, colleagues, suppliers and third parties.

• High levels of drive and energy.

• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.

• Enthusiasm and general interest in Software Development.

• A passion for user interface

• Commitment to on-going personal development

Nice to have

• Passion for the Open‑Source technology

• Front end skills: Typescript and Angular, or Blazor

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Development or equivalent.
