Job summary

TUNBRIDGE TRADING INC in Valencia, Quezon City, Metro Manila is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join its finance team on a full-time basis. You will provide essential financial administration support, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely processing of financial transactions to help the warehousing, storage and distribution operations run smoothly.

You will handle accounts payable and receivable tasks, assist with bank reconciliations, and contribute to monthly and year-end closing

Qualifications

• Secondary education or higher; accounting or business qualifications are advantageous.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational abilities and time management skills.
• Ability to work accurately with financial data and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Processing and recording financial transactions accurately in the accounting system.
• Preparing and maintaining financial documentation, invoices, receipts and vouchers.
• Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Supporting the preparation of financial reports and statements.
• Filing and organising financial records in a systematic manner.
• Assisting with data entry and verification of financial information.
• Supporting month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Liaising with suppliers, customers and internal departments regarding financial matters.
• Assisting with audits and providing supporting documentation as required.
