Job summary

Nordic is recruiting for a Desktop Engineer II to assure operations of enterprise desktop management and to deliver timely, reliable IT services within a healthcare setting.

The role covers design, deployment, and support of Windows desktops, AD, and related technologies. Candidates should have 4+ years in desktop management and be able to lead initiatives while collaborating across Mercy Health teams.

Qualifications

• College diploma or university degree in computer science, information systems or related field, with 4+ years of equivalent work experience.
• Prior leadership roles and relevant experience.
• 3+ years of experience with SCCM and/or similar desktop administration.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Microsoft SCCM, Flexera AdminStudio, and Windows desktops.
• Manage Active Directory including Group Policy.
• Coordinate with vendors and teams on complex projects and provide Tier 2 support for healthcare entities.
• Document policies, standards, and knowledge base articles.
• Lead project resources, mentor teammates, and deliver solutions per standards.
• Perform on-call duties and ensure incident SLA targets are met.
