Job summary

Novelle Office Furniture Inc. is seeking a drafting professional to prepare furniture layouts, shop drawings and technical drawings based on client requirements.

You will create accurate designs for production and installation, and coordinate with Sales on client needs and design revisions. The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD/SketchUp, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to interpret detailed drawings and specs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in drafting-related fields is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare furniture layouts, shop drawings and technical drawings from client requirements.
• Create accurate designs and specifications for production and installation.
• Coordinate with Sales on design revisions and client needs.
• Prepare Job Orders (JOs) and ensure completeness before submission.
• Ensure drawings meet company standards and client specs.
• Revise/update drawings per client/management requests.
• Verify dimensions, measurements and material specs before finalizing.
• Coordinate with Production and Warehouse on fabrication needs.
• Maintain organized records of drawings and project files.
• Follow branch-specific design standards and approved materials.
• Assist during site measurements when required.
• Provide technical support to Production, Installation and Sales.
• Monitor project schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
• Report design issues to supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other design software.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Knowledge of furniture design and space planning.

• Ability to interpret technical drawings and project specifications.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.

• Willing to work in Imus, Cavite.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Prepare furniture layouts, shop drawings, and technical drawings based on client requirements.

2. Create accurate designs and specifications for production and installation.

3. Coordinate with the Sales Department regarding customer requirements and design revisions.

4. Prepare Job Orders (JOs) and ensure they are complete before submission to Production.

5. Ensure all drawings comply with company standards and client specifications.

6. Revise and update drawings as required by clients or management.

7. Verify dimensions, measurements, and material specifications before finalizing designs.

8. Coordinate with the Production and Warehouse Departments regarding fabrication requirements.

9. Maintain organized records of drawings, layouts, revisions, and project files.

10. Ensure branch-specific design standards and approved materials are strictly followed.

11. Assist during site measurements when required.

12. Provide technical support and clarification to Production, Installation, and Sales teams.

13. Monitor project schedules to ensure design deliverables are completed on time.

14. Report design issues, discrepancies, or potential production problems to the immediate supervisor.

15. Perform other duties that may be assigned by Management from time to time.
