Job summary

FiberHome is seeking a Designer to prepare and design telecommunications network plans, ensuring fiber optic projects are accurately planned and documented.

You will create network layouts, review technical requirements, prepare design drawings, and coordinate with engineering and project teams to support deployment of telecom facilities.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, proficiency in AutoCAD or GIS, and strong analytical and communication skills.

• Knowledge of telecommunications and fiber optic networks is an advantage.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, GIS, or other design software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fiber optic network designs and layouts based on project requirements.
• Create and update technical drawings, maps, and as-built plans.
• Conduct site assessments and analyze survey data.
• Ensure designs comply with engineering standards and client specifications.
• Coordinate with project engineers, field teams, and clients regarding design requirements.
