Job summary

MVP Asia Pacific Inc. is seeking a Design Engineer to support engineering activities for pole and catenary structures in the Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga Province. The role emphasizes 3D modelling, 2D/3D drawings, and integration of drafting tools with ERP and collaboration platforms.

You will design to Australian and international standards, perform mid-hinge assessments, and contribute to automation of drafting processes through software integration.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Engineering Draftsperson or similar role.
• Strong Autodesk Inventor experience.
• Experience with 2D and 3D manufacturing drawings.
• Experience with design automation, scripting, iLogic, or integration tools.
• NetSuite or similar ERP experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Active involvement with the broader engineering team including regular meetings.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D modelling in Inventor.
• Prepare General Arrangement drawings and Manufacturing and Supplier drawings in 2D or 3D as required.
• Use NetSuite Sharepoint to receive, update and complete job tasks including file management.
• Design poles aligned with Australian and International standards and Company Engineering standards.
• Design catenary structures using PLS CADD and PLS Pole program, where preferred.
• Undertake mid-hinge pole assessments for safe operation.
• Design Pole Footings, in compliance with Australian and International standards and Company Engineering standards.
• Develop and maintain standards for integration of Autodesk Suite and Microsoft Office to aid in drafting –enable automation of drafting via integration of software packages.
