Job summary

Lattice Semiconductor is seeking a Design Verification Engineer to join the Silicon team in Manila, Philippines. You will contribute to a dynamic verification team with opportunities to learn and grow while delivering high-quality SoC verification on aggressive schedules.

The role emphasizes SystemVerilog/UVM, HDL/HVL methods, and collaboration with design, IP, and software groups to meet product milestones and drive verification excellence.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of digital design verification experience.
• Bachelor or Masters in CS/CE/EE.
• Strong debugging and analysis skills for complex digital designs.
• Experience with HDL/HVL languages and verification methodologies.
• Background in ASIC/FPGA/SoC verification or development cycles.

Responsibilities

• Develop verification plans with metrics and track progress.
• Verify design blocks, subsystems and full chip using assertion-based and formal methods.
• Create SystemVerilog and C testbenches in UVM environment.
• Build testbench components such as UVCs, BFMs and verification tools.
• Define verification regression environment and coverage metrics.
• Collaborate with design, IP and SW teams to meet schedules.
• Establish best practices for SoC verification.

Lattice Semiconductor is seeking a Design Verification Engineer to join the Silicon team. This position is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team with ample opportunity to contribute, learn and grow.

Accountabilities

• Develop comprehensive verification plans, clear metrics and continuously measure progress against the plan throughout the project
• Verify design blocks, sub systems and full chip using assertion-based verification, formal verification, directed tests and randomized tests
• Understand the specifications, use cases and develop System Verilog and ‘C’ based testbenches in UVM environment
• Design and develop testbench components such as Universal Verification Components, BFMs and verification tools
• Define and design verification regression environment
• Perform Functional coverage, RTL code coverage, assertion coverage, and gate level simulations
• Collaborate with design engineers, IP developers and SW developers to deliver high quality SoC verification on aggressive time schedules
• Develop best practices and world class methods for SoC verification

Required Skills

• 5-8 years Digital Design Verification Related Experience
• Bachelor or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Electrical Engineer
• Strong debugging and analyzing skills in complex digital design
• Experience in HDL and HVL Languages and Methodologies
• Experience in ASIC/FPGA/SoC verification or development cycle
• Knowledge in simulation tools like Cadence IES/XCELIUM, Synopsys VCS or Mentor's Questa
• Hands-on experience in Python, Perl or Shell Scripting, TCL and Make.
• Strong communication, analytical and documentation skills and ability to interface with other groups/site
