Job summary

Acedo Builders is seeking a licensed Architect with 10+ years of experience for an on-site, full-time role in Cavite. You will lead design development, prepare detailed drawings, and oversee construction administration to ensure compliance with codes and client specifications.

You will collaborate across the architectural team from pre-design through construction drawings, producing working drawings and managing documentation for consultants and the owner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture; licensed Architect.
• 10+ years of experience in design architectural roles.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D modeling.

Responsibilities

• Develop design concepts and proposals meeting client objectives and regulations.
• Translate concepts into detailed drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Provide on-site construction administration and supervision.
• Ensure designs comply with building codes and permit requirements.
• Collaborate with the architectural team from pre-design to construction drawings.
• Produce complete working drawings under supervision and reviews.
• Edit and create drawing plans using AutoCAD; 3D modeling.

• Concept Development: Design Architects work closely with Principal Architect to understand their needs, preferences, and project requirements. They develop design concepts and proposals that meet the client's objectives while considering factors such as site conditions, building codes, zoning regulations, and environmental considerations.
• Design Development: Design Architects translate conceptual designs into detailed architectural drawings, plans, and specifications. They use specialized software and drafting techniques to create floor plans, elevations, sections, and other architectural documents that communicate design intent and technical details to clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
• Construction Administration: Design Architect provide on-site supervision and support during the construction phase of projects. They review construction progress, inspect workmanship, and address any discrepancies or changes to the design. Architects also respond to requests for information (RFIs), review shop drawings, and approve material selections to ensure that the final built product meets the design intent and quality standards.
• Code Compliance and Permitting: Design Architects are responsible for ensuring that designs comply with applicable building codes, zoning regulations, and other legal requirements. They prepare and submit permit applications, coordinate with regulatory authorities, and obtain necessary approvals to proceed with construction projects legally and safely.
• Collaborate Architectural team to complete tasks, mostly architectural drawings from pre-design stage up to construction drawings.
• Provide/ Produce complete working drawings under supervision and reviews of Principal Architect and Engineers.
• Over all in-charge of documentation and amendments or revisions supply changes update on the final documents needed for consultants and owner.
