Job summary

Net Pacific, Inc. is seeking a Design and Estimate Engineer (Electrical) to join our engineering team in Taguig City, Metro Manila.

This full-time role combines electrical design with accurate project estimations to support successful delivery and client satisfaction. You will prepare designs and cost estimates, review specifications and drawings, compute estimates for electrical installations, and participate in pre-bid meetings and site inspections to bridge concept and execution.

Qualifications

• BS Electronics and Communication Engineering or BS Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in electrical design and estimation.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, Planswift or similar).
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Cost estimation and financial analysis of new projects as well as summarizing quotation and proposals.
• Review and analyze project specifications, blueprints, and technical documentation to inform design decisions.
• Prepare comprehensive cost estimates and bill of quantities for electrical installations and systems.
• Computes cost by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
• Presents prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.
• Maintain cost data base by entering and backing up data.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and estimation methodologies.
• Estimate project cost and make an in-house estimation for negotiation of bids.
• Attends pre-bid meeting, clarification meetings and site inspection.

About the role

Net Pacific, Inc. is seeking a Design and Estimate Engineer (Electrical) to join our engineering team on a full-time basis in Taguig City, Metro Manila. This is a critical role that combines technical expertise in electrical design with the ability to provide accurate project estimations. As a Design and Estimate Engineer, you will be responsible for developing electrical designs and preparing comprehensive cost estimates for projects, directly contributing to the success of our project delivery and client satisfaction. This position plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between conceptual design and project execution, ensuring that all electrical systems are designed to specification whilst remaining economically viable.

Key responsibilities

• Cost estimation and financial analysis of new projects as well as summarizing quotation and proposals


• Review and analyze project specifications, blueprints, and technical documentation to inform design decisions


• Prepare comprehensive cost estimates and bill of quantities for electrical installations and systems


• Computes cost by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements

• Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshop; and training


• Contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and estimation methodologies

What we're looking for

• BS Electronics and Communication Engineering Graduates / BS Electrical Engineering Graduates


• Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in electrical design and estimation


• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, Planswift, or similar electrical design tools)


• Excellent numerical and analytical skills with demonstrated ability to prepare accurate estimates


• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
