Ensure electrical designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.
Coordinate with architectural, mechanical, and civil teams for integrated design solutions.
Perform detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.
Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and cost estimates for electrical systems.
Analyze labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
Develop detailed cost breakdowns and project budgets.
Review tender documents, technical specifications, and scope of work.
Prepare technical proposals and cost estimates for project bids.
Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations.
Participate in bid clarifications and negotiations with clients.
Evaluate supplier quotations for technical compliance.
Recommend value engineering options to optimize cost and performance.
Conduct load calculations, cable sizing, voltage drop analysis, and short-circuit studies.
Review design submissions, shop drawings, and engineering documents.
Provide technical guidance to junior engineers, estimators, and draftsmen.
Coordinate with project management and site teams to resolve technical issues.
Prepare technical specifications and material submittals.
Assist procurement teams in vendor evaluation and equipment selection.
Ensure selected materials meet project requirements and standards.
Provide engineering support during project execution.
Review shop drawings and as-built documentation.
