Job summary

MediCard Phils., Inc. invites applications for a Dental Assistant who will oversee daily operations of the dental clinic, assist with history-taking, charting, and radiographs, and ensure proper instrument preparation and sterilization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/College Degree in Dentistry or Nursing required.
• Customer service oriented.
• Experience as Dental Assistant is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Takes charge of dental appointments/scheduling.
• Assists in Medical/Dental History-taking.
• Accurately charts dental availments.
• Performs intraoral camera documentation when indicated.
• Approves dental procedures when applicable.
• Performs periapical radiographs when indicated.
• Wraps up for patients after consultation/procedure; sterilizes instruments.
• Prepares monthly billing statements for dentists and submits to Accounting.
