The main role of the Demand Planner is to develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts and demand plans to support the business objectives. This role is crucial is consolidating demand signals across various segments, analyzing market trends, and ensuring that sales plans are accurately translated into the system for optimal supply planning and inventory management.

Demand, Planning & Forecasting:

• Consolidate sales forecasts for food service, modern trade, and other relevant segments (e.g., e-commerce)
• Run demand plans in the system based on the submitted sales forecast
• Perform statistical and historical sales data analysis monthly to determine if there is a need to adjust forecasts and improve accuracy
• Collaborate cross-functionality with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to gather market intelligence and ensure alignment on the consensus demand plan
• Analyze forecast versus actual sales data to identify root causes of forecast error and implement corrective actions

Reporting and Analysis:

• Generate and submit reports, including forecast versus actual sales report and forecast achievement report
• Analyze records and reports of unserved orders to assess the impact of forecast accuracy and propose improvements

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, or any business‑related course
• Must have 1+ year proven experience in demand planning
• Experience in the FMCG industry is an advantage
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills, analytical, problem‑solving, decision‑making, negotiation, coordination and time‑management skills
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Good judgement and detailed‑oriented skills
