Job summary

Yamaha Motor Philippines is seeking a Production Planning and Control Analyst to support weekly assembly plans and monitor material lead times. You will coordinate with Manufacturing in-charge and Corporate Strategy Production Control on import shipments and production issues.

The role requires a degree in Engineering, 2-3 years in demand chain management or import ordering in manufacturing, and strong MS Office skills for reporting and data analysis.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required.
• 2–3 years experience in demand chain management or import ordering in manufacturing.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving and quick action skills.

Responsibilities

• Issues Assembly Plan schedule on a weekly basis.
• Checks and assesses production plan lead time of materials ETA Port - production usage (minimum of 9 days).
• Checks and shares information updates of Daily Production Progress Result.
• Checks and ensures sequence data in the system is correct.
• Collaborates with Manufacturing in-charge for the schedule of Production Plan and discusses if problem occurs.
• Prepares reports and discusses internal production meetings to fix and forecast production plan.
• Receives and assesses Parts Revision implementation.
• Coordinates with Corporate Strategy Production Control and Manufacturing in-charge for import shipment related concerns, problems and inquiries.
• Spearheads emergency meeting if any abnormality, problem arises.
• Proposes and make simple Kaizen.
• Performs other function that may be assigned from time to time.

• Proficient in MS Office / Applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).

• Good communication and analytical skills, problem solving and quick action response.
