Dell Boomi Integration Consultant / Senior Integration Consultant

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Dell Boomi Integration Consultant to design, develop, implement and support enterprise integrations for a utilities environment. The role sits at the center of a modern digital ecosystem connecting Kaluza and SAP backend platforms with Salesforce and customer-facing mobile and web channels. The consultant will own integration delivery across APIs, application interfaces, data transformation, orchestration, monitoring and production support, while ensuring secure, resilient and scalable integration patterns.

Core Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end integration solutions using Dell Boomi AtomSphere, including process orchestration, API-led integrations and reusable integration components.
• Develop and maintain integrations between Kaluza, SAP, Salesforce, mobile applications and web applications.
• Translate business and technical requirements into integration architecture, interface specifications, mappings and technical designs.
• Build synchronous and asynchronous integrations using REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, OData and other enterprise integration patterns as required.
• Implement data mapping, transformation, validation, enrichment, routing, aggregation, exception handling and retry mechanisms.
• Develop reusable Boomi processes, connectors, maps, profiles, business rules, subprocesses and error-handling frameworks.
• Design and expose secure APIs through Boomi API Management and apply authentication, authorization, throttling and policy controls.
• Integrate SAP backend capabilities with digital channels and customer platforms, including Salesforce.
• Work closely with business analysts, solution architects, SAP teams, Salesforce teams, application developers, QA and DevOps/support teams.
• Investigate production failures, perform root-cause analysis, implement fixes and contribute to permanent corrective actions.
• Support deployment across development, test, staging and production environments using appropriate release and change-management practices.
• Monitor integrations for failures, latency, throughput and data-quality issues and proactively identify operational risks.

Utilities Industry Responsibilities

• Understand utility customer and operational journeys such as customer onboarding, account/service management, billing-related interactions, payments, move-in/move-out and service requests.
• Integrate customer-facing digital channels with backend utility platforms while maintaining consistent customer, account, premise and service data.
• Work with utility-specific data and integration flows where customer, meter, service point, tariff, billing and payment information may be exchanged.
• Design integrations that support high transaction volumes, operational continuity and traceable processing across critical utility services.
• Apply appropriate controls for sensitive customer and financial information, auditability and secure API communication.

Required Experience

• 7+ years of enterprise integration experience, with substantial hands-on Dell Boomi experience.
• Strong experience delivering production-grade integrations in a complex enterprise environment.
• Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, authentication, transformation and error handling.
• Experience working across backend systems and customer-facing digital channels.
• Experience with SAP and Salesforce integration is strongly preferred.
• Utilities, energy, telecommunications, financial services or another high-volume regulated industry experience is advantageous.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, documentation and stakeholder-management skills.
