Job summary

IBM Consulting in the Philippines is seeking an HR/Payroll operations specialist with native to near-native Japanese skills. You will support transition and ongoing operations, drive process improvements, and ensure accurate client reporting.

A bachelor’s degree and ERP experience are essential, with strong MS Office and communication abilities. You will collaborate with project teams, manage multiple priorities, and help maintain high employee engagement while adhering to corporate data

Qualifications

• JLPT N1 or equivalent Japanese proficiency is required.
• Fluent spoken and written Japanese is essential.
• Bachelor's degree or higher, HR related preferred.
• Experience with SAP/Oracle ERP systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure stable and healthy delivery during transition and operation.
• Collaborate with project teams to meet client and project expectations.
• Identify and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Provide accurate reporting to client, project teams and leadership.
• Resolve complex cases with insights to improve customer satisfaction.
• Analyze data for Process Change Requests (PCR) with project teams.
• Engage with employees monthly to monitor morale and satisfaction.
• Track team utilization and productivity across functions.
• Coordinate with Payroll and Benefit teams for collaboration.
• Ensure compliance with IBM policies, data security and privacy.
