Job summary

Metrobank's Enterprise Services Sector / Information Technology Group seeks a Delivery Manager to lead IT project delivery using Agile or waterfall methods. The role focuses on building and guiding the continuous delivery pipeline to improve speed and quality.

Reporting to the Delivery Management Department, you will manage project plans, budgets, risks, and stakeholder communications, while coaching the Scrum team and coordinating cross-functional work in a fast-paced financial services

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree required in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years in project management, service delivery, or operations.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
• Excellent communication and ability to manage timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Proficient with project management tools and MS Office applications.
• Knowledge of process improvement and service quality standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform project management in either waterfall or agile environments.
• Create and maintain Project Plans and Work Plans with approvals.
• Prepare Project Status Reports covering schedule, quality, and scope delivery.
• Track budgets and costs; report variances and risks.
• Document risks and issues, escalate and resolve with the team.
• Facilitate meetings and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Support audits and prepare Close-Out Reports when projects end.
• Lead Scrum processes, coach team, and ensure adherence to Scrum rules.
• Collaborate with other Scrum Masters to improve practice across the org.
• Complete all required documentation at project close.

Position Title:Delivery Manager

Job Summary:

The Delivery Manager acts as the project manager for project activities within ITG scope using Agile or waterfall methodology to manage the projects and ensure timely end-to-end project delivery. Directs development of the continuous delivery pipeline to improve delivery speed, quality and effort.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

• Performs project management responsibilities in either waterfall and agile methodology
• Prepares/creates and maintains Project Plan, Work Plan and securing the necessary approval as applicable.
• Prepares/creates Project Status Report and reporting the same in terms of delivery of schedule, quality and scope.
• Tracks Project budget and costs as applicable.
• Ensures documentation of all risks and issues associated with the Project, working with the Project Team to facilitate resolution and timely escalation as deemed necessary.
• Participates and facilitates in relevant meetings, as required.
• Ensures compliance with internal and external policies, security and legal regulatory requirements as applicable. Supports audit exercises when needed.
• Facilitates post-implementation or similar activity and prepares Close-Out Report as applicable
• Ensures of completion of required documents at the end of the project
• Manages the Scrum process with the coordination of Scrum Team in Agile methodology.
• Ensures that the Scrum Team adheres to Scrum theory, practices and rules.
• Acts as a servant-leader for the Scrum Team, as applicable.
• Facilitates Scrum events (e.g. Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospective) as needed and ensures that they are conducted as scheduled, as applicable.
• Ensures effective Product Backlog management, as applicable.
• Removes impediments to Scrum team’s progress, as applicable.
• Ensures that Scrum Team does not over-commit to what they can achieve during a Sprint, as applicable.
• Acts as coach/mentor to Scrum Team members, as applicable.
• Work with other Scrum Masters to increase effectiveness of Scrum application in the organization, as applicable.
• Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in project management, service delivery, operations, or related roles.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience in managing projects, timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and ensure timely delivery of services or projects.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and project management tools.
• Knowledge of process improvement and service quality standards is an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and results-driven environment.
