Job summary

BDO Unibank, Inc. seeks a Delivery Manager to own end-to-end technical deliverables for Master Data Management projects, ensuring scope, schedule and budget commitments are met.

You will oversee Data & Analytics project delivery, maintain schedules and budgets, and provide visibility to stakeholders across the lifecycle, including testing phases and vendor coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job.
• 3–5 years in Enterprise Data Platform and Delivery Management, preferably in banking.
• Experience with PMI/PRINCE2 PM framework and/or Agile, Scrum, or Kanban is a plus.
• Candidate must be willing to work in Makati.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for end-to-end delivery of Data & Analytics projects within scope, schedule and budget.
• Adheres to SDLC processes across Service Definition, Build, and Management.
• Assist in prioritization of Data & Analytics projects in planning cycles.
• Develop, maintain, track and report realistic project schedules and budgets.
• Provide visibility on project status to stakeholders on agreed frequency.
• Monitor risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage project team, onboarding/offboarding, capacity, and performance concerns.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and other Platform Delivery Managers.
• Oversee day-to-day activities and provide guidance to team members.
• Provide test status updates during SIT/UAT and track testing scope/timelines/defects.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project team.
• Assist in change impact analysis and change management processes.
• Escalate unresolved concerns/issues; manage involved vendors.
• Ensure project documentation and manuals are created on time; enable transition to Prod support.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies, standards and PM methodologies.
• Develop estimates for capacity and resource timing; address performance issues.

Job Summary

As a Delivery Manager, you will be accountable for the end-to-end technical deliverables of Master Data Management (MDM) projects, meeting scope, schedule and its budget commitments.

Role Responsibilities:

• Accountable for the end-to-end delivery of the Data & Analytics projects, delivering within scope, approved project schedule and budget commitments
• Adheres to BDO's SDLC processes across Service Definition, Service Build, and Service Management
• Assists in prioritization of Data & Analytics Projects as part of the business planning / demand planning cycle
• Develop, maintain, track and report to project stakeholders, realistic project schedule, project budget.
• Provide visibility on the project status to all relevant project stakeholders on the agreed frequency and timing.
• Monitor, manage project risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies throughout the whole project
• Manage the project team, establish ways of working to ensure common understanding and alignment. Responsible in monitoring and taking timely action on the project resource plan e.g. onboarding and offboarding of resources; ensuring all project resources are properly and fully utilized by the project; ensure capacity / allocation are reviewed and aligned with stakeholders, raise any performance concern – if BDO resource, internally; if third party, with the vendor.
• Collaborate with other stakeholders e.g. Project Managers, other platform Delivery Managers that integrates / related with the Data & Analytics projects.
• Oversee and manage day to day activities of the project team provide help, support and direction on any outstanding project concern or questions
• Oversee and manage, provide test status updates during testing phases, especially during SIT and UAT; keeping track of all the scope and timeline of testing, defects, and resolution with the identified owners (solvers and testers)
• Provide technical guidance and support to project team members.
• Help assess change impact analysis, review changes required and handle change management process as necessary.
• Escalate unresolved concerns / issues.
• Responsible for vendors directly involved in providing the services for the delivery scope.
• Ensure all project documentation and manuals are created with quality and on time. Ensure seamless transition / training from project team to Platform Prod support according to process.
• Ensure project resources comply to all BDO mandated trainings.
• Ensure the project complies with all bank policies, standards and procedures.
• Ensure project complies to all BDO project management standards and methodologies.
• Develop the right estimates on capacity needs, on-board and off-boarding timing and any performance issues or unforeseen contention for resources.
• When engaged as test manager, the delivery manager must organize and control the Test activities of the Test Leads under a Project or Unit. The Test Manager ensures visibility in each Testing activity across a Unit or Project and resource planning at this level.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of IT’s technical side (systems, configuration, deployment, SDLC life cycle), infrastructure, emerging technologies, and service delivery landscape
• Project Management: Ability to apply knowledge in Work Breakdown Structure, Risk Management, Issue Management, and Dependency Management to effectively organize, plan, and lead multiple initiatives at once.
• Financial Management: Knowledge of budgeting, cost management, and financial planning to ensure that service delivery stays within budget and aligns with financial goals.
• Client Relationship Management: Can effectively communicate and understand client requirements, manage expectations, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the service delivery process.
• Analytical Skills: Problem-solving capabilities, strong analytical skills, and flexibility to be able to handle complex situations as necessary
• Leadership Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with an aptitude for working in cross-functional teams.
• Adaptability: Agile in adapting to change and learning new technologies.
• Attention to Detail: High level of precision in coding, debugging, and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job.
• Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in Enterprise Data Platform and Delivery Management, preferably gained from a bank or financial institution.
• Experience in handling complex projects on financial applications is highly preferred.
• Experience in PMI/PRINCE2 PM framework and/or Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodology is a plus.
• Candidate must be willing to work in Makati.
