We are looking for a highly driven, customer-focused Delivery Lead to own the execution of our software delivery commitments.
This role sits at the intersection of Customer Success, Product, Business Analysis, and Engineering. You will ensure that client commitments are translated into clear priorities, realistic delivery plans, and predictable engineering outcomes.
While the CTO and AI-Lead Developers provide technical direction, architecture, and engineering quality leadership, the Delivery Lead owns the delivery engine — ensuring the right work is prioritized, dependencies are managed, blockers are removed, and commitments are delivered on time.
You will have clear visibility across requirements, engineering capacity, sprint execution, releases, client readiness, and channel rollouts. Success in this role means fewer surprises, clear accountability, and predictable delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery Ownership
- Own end-to-end delivery of client-facing features, integrations, platform changes, and channel launches.
- Maintain a single integrated delivery plan covering requirements, engineering work, dependencies, testing, release readiness, and client go-live dates.
- Track commitments from requirement definition through development, testing, deployment, and production release.
- Ensure delivery dates, owners, dependencies, risks, and blockers are clearly documented and actively managed.
- Drive delivery recovery plans when milestones are at risk.
Customer Success & BA Partnership
- Partner closely with Customer Success and Business Analysts to translate client commitments, contracts, SLAs, and functional requirements into actionable engineering deliverables.
- Validate that requirements are sufficiently defined before they enter engineering.
- Ensure Customer Success has clear visibility of delivery dates, dependencies, risks, scope changes, and release status.
- Translate technical constraints and dependencies into clear business language for client-facing teams.
Sprint & Engineering Execution
- Work with AI-Lead Developers and engineering teams to translate delivery priorities into sprint plans.
- Ensure sprint priorities remain aligned with client commitments and business objectives.
- Balance customer-facing work with technical debt, platform improvements, security remediation, infrastructure work, and engineering quality requirements.
- Monitor sprint progress and intervene early when delivery commitments are at risk.
- Ensure incomplete or blocked work is surfaced early rather than discovered near release dates.
Dependency & Critical Path Management
- Identify dependencies across Customer Success, BA, Engineering, Product, Platform, Operations, and external clients or partners.
- Maintain visibility of the critical path for major releases and channel launches.
- Identify bottlenecks such as delayed requirements, client dependencies, environment readiness, developer capacity, integration issues, or testing delays.
- Escalate issues early and drive them to resolution.
Release & Go-Live Coordination
- Coordinate release readiness across Engineering, Customer Success, Product, Platform, and Operations.
- Ensure required development, testing, client configuration, infrastructure, documentation, and operational readiness activities are completed before go-live.
- Track post-release issues and ensure critical production problems are prioritized and resolved quickly.
Delivery Governance & Reporting
- Establish clear delivery dashboards covering commitments, milestones, sprint progress, risks, dependencies, blockers, and release readiness.
- Provide concise delivery updates to the CTO and key stakeholders.
- Use delivery data to identify recurring bottlenecks and continuously improve planning and execution.
- Ensure the agreed delivery process and engineering governance are consistently followed.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
On-Time Delivery
Percentage of committed client deliverables, releases, and channel launches completed by the agreed date.
Delivery Predictability
Accuracy of committed delivery dates versus actual completion dates.
Sprint Reliability
Percentage of committed sprint work completed within the sprint, with particular focus on customer-facing deliverables.
Risk & Blocker Management
Early identification, escalation, and resolution of issues that could affect delivery commitments.
Release Readiness
Percentage of releases reaching go-live without avoidable last-minute requirement, dependency, environment, or operational issues.
Delivery Transparency
Accuracy and timeliness of delivery status provided to Customer Success, Engineering leadership, and other stakeholders.
Customer Success Partnership
Stakeholder feedback on engineering responsiveness, communication, predictability, and delivery execution.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Strong experience in software delivery, technical program management, SaaS delivery, engineering delivery, or technical project management.
- Proven experience managing complex software initiatives involving multiple engineering teams, clients, integrations, and dependencies.
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery, sprint planning, backlog management, release management, and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience working directly with developers, technical leads, Product, Business Analysts, Customer Success, and Operations teams.
- Strong ability to convert business commitments into structured engineering plans and measurable milestones.
- Excellent dependency, risk, escalation, and critical-path management skills.
- Ability to understand technical discussions and translate them into clear business impact without needing to be the technical architect.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with experience using Azure DevOps, Jira, Linear, or similar delivery management platforms.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment with multiple concurrent client commitments and changing priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience delivering B2B SaaS platforms, enterprise software, media/technology platforms, or integration-heavy solutions.
- Experience coordinating API integrations, cloud deployments, data integrations, or multi-client platform releases.
- Familiarity with modern cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
- Experience working with engineering teams using AI-assisted development or AI coding tools.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, engineering quality gates, and production release processes.
What Success Looks Like
The Delivery Lead creates a delivery environment where:
- Customer commitments have clear engineering plans and owners.
- Engineering teams know exactly what needs to be delivered and why.
- Requirements and dependencies are resolved before they become delivery emergencies.
- Customer Success has reliable visibility into delivery status.
- Risks are identified and escalated early.
- Releases and channel launches are coordinated and predictable.
- Technical quality is protected while business commitments continue to move forward.
The goal is simple: turn client commitments into predictable, high-quality software delivery.
