Job Description
- Safely transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Load and unload deliveries using appropriate tools, such as forklifts or pallet jacks.
- Verify delivery contents against invoices or orders to ensure accuracy.
- Inspect and maintain vehicles to ensure they are in proper working condition.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Communicate with the logistics team and clients regarding delivery updates or delays.
- Assist with handling and organizing materials at job sites, if required.
- Maintain delivery logs and required paperwork.
- Valid driver’s license (commercial license may be required depending on vehicle type).
- Clean driving record with a history of safe driving practices.
- Experience in operating delivery trucks or heavy vehicles (e.g., flatbeds, box trucks).
- Physical strength and stamina to lift and move heavy materials.
- Familiarity with local roads, routes, and construction sites.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Basic knowledge of construction materials and tools is an advantage.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends.
