Job Description
- Safely drive trucks to transport goods and materials to designated locations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries according to scheduled routes.
- Vehicle Inspections & Maintenance: Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in safe operating condition, reporting any mechanical issues and assisting with basic maintenance tasks.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, fuel usage, and hours worked, and ensure compliance with traffic laws and company safety regulations.
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL): Possess a current CDL with the appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being driven (e.g., Class A, Class B).
- Driving Experience: Proven experience driving large vehicles, with a strong understanding of road safety, traffic laws, and the ability to navigate various routes.
- Physical Stamina & Flexibility: Ability to handle long hours on the road, lift heavy items when necessary, and maintain focus while driving in various weather and traffic conditions.
